Born in Florence, Italy Chef Fabio Viviani is everywhere! An award winning chef with multiple restaurants in Southern California and Chicago, best-selling cookbooks (e.g. Fabio’s Italian Kitchen), his own wines, a digital magazine for entrepreneurs, Chef Viviani is probably best known for the charismatic passion he brings to television. Since Chef Viviani made his television debut on Bravo’s Top Chef, he has become a household name with numerous appearances on shows like Good Morning America, The Rachael Ray Show, The Talk, The Chew, Ellen, Hallmark Channel’s Home & Family as well as Bravo and Food Network specials. In December 2015, Chef Fabio Viviani added to his list of achievements by winning Food Network’s Cutthroat Kitchen Superstar Sabotage Tournament against 15 other All-Star chefs.

One thing you may not know about Chef Fabio Viviani is that he is a strong supporter of local food, humane farming, and family meals. Whether it is his work as a National Ambassador for the American Humane Association, sharing family recipes in his cookbooks (such as how to make homemade pasta in 90 seconds – shown below), or finding local sources for his restaurants, Chef Viviani is an active member of the Farm to Family Food Chain.

Chef Fabio Viviani’s #8isEnoughQuestions interview is part of our Farm to Family Food Chain series with farmers, chefs, retailers, and more. Previous Farm to Family Food Chain interviews have included Chef Marc Murphy and Jesse Straight from Whiffletree Farm. For this special audio #8isEnoughQuestions interview, each of the following questions was written and asked by one of our Full Van Fun family members and answered directly by Chef Fabio Viviani. Buon ascolto!
